A few weeks ago I attended a meeting with myself and some other colleagues from a coaching program I previously attended.
I really enjoyed seeing some faces I haven’t seen for a while, and the opportunity to collaborate with the other business owners present.
What struck me most was how many people talked about having a big Vision for their companies. These were business owners who think big, keep growing, and know that the right people can make all the difference in achieving their Vision.
They know that staying focussed on their Vision will keep them moving forward, even through disruption. Instead of giving up when things get tough, they go back to their Vision, get excited, and bring others along for the ride.
As a result, they are achieving some amazing outcomes.
On the other hand, I know of far too many business owners who don’t have a clear Vision.
Worse yet, those that do often keep it as a closely guarded secret that even their own team don’t know about.
Many years ago, I used to have big planning sessions in my own business with my spouse preneur, and then forget to share the plan with my team. This meant way too much effort for both of us, and not enough synergistic energy in our organization.
It was when I learned about the importance of openly sharing Vision that things started to shift in a positive direction. I had people putting up their hands asking how they could contribute. We had more focus and a lot more fun.
Here’s the thing. It really doesn’t have to be hard to create a Vision and share it with the people who can help make it happen.
With just a few hours of preparation, followed by a collaboration meeting with me, we can get your Vision clarified and complete. Shortly after that, you’ll be able to share it with others and get the help you need, and frankly deserve, to make it happen.
